MFY Musician Lina Elwood Wins Danbury Symphony Orchestra’s 2026 Annual Concerto Competition

Congratulations to Lina Elwood for winning Danbury Symphony Orchestra’s Annual Concerto Competition! The competition took place at Danbury Music Centre on Sunday, February 8. Lina gave a brilliant performance of Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No.2, 3rd movement.

Lina is very excited to be performing her winning piece with the Danbury Symphony Orchestra in May. Lina is also the second place winner of the Marianne Liberatore Instrumental Competition this year. See Lina playing one of her competition pieces here!
