MFY Musicians Serena Li, Christopher Li and Mia Jung-Pitkin win American Chamber Orchestra’s 16th Concerto Competition

Congratulations to MFY musicians Serena Li (cello), Chris Li (piano) and Mia Jung-Pitkin (violin) for winning American Chamber Orchestra’s 16th Concerto Competition! The final competition took place at the Faust Harrison Piano Store in Fairfield, CT on Sunday, March 1.

All of the winners gave incredible performances. Serena played Dvorak Cello Concerto in B minor, 1st movement. Christopher played Chopin Piano Concerto No. 2 in F minor, Op. 21, 1st movement. Mia played Vieuxtemps Violin Concerto No. 5 in A minor, Op. 37, 1st movement.

They will be performing their winning pieces with the American Chamber Orchestra on June 13, 2026 at Norwalk City Hall.
